Couple in limbo with Haitian adoptions

Bruny and Brunel Civil were just 3 years old when their small arms first hugged the necks of Rebecca Erickson and her husband, David.
They are affectionate kids by nature, David Erickson said, recalling the couple’s visit in 2002 to the Christian orphanage in Haiti. A bond so strong was formed with the twin boys that the couple filed paperwork the following year to adopt the brothers and bring them to the United States. A process they assumed would take a few years has evolved into a seven-year battle that has drained them emotionally and financially, leaving them wondering when they can bring the boys home.
